In the name of God Amen. I Richard Wall of Northampton
County in the province of North Carolina being of perfect
Sense and memory I thank God for it, Therefore do make &
Ordain my Last Will and testament in the following manner &
form following
Viz I recommend my Soul to God who gave it to me and my Body
to the Earth to be Decently Buried at the discreation of my
Executors In sure & Certain hope of joyful resurrection
through the Mercies of my Blessed Saviour.
Itm � I give and bequeath to my Son Sampson Wall my Land &
plantation Where I now live to him and his heirs.
Itm � I give & bequeath to my Son Sampson Wall my negro
fellow named Jack to be kept on the plantation for the
maintenance of my Wife Lucy Wall during her natural life and
after her decease to him and his heirs.
Itm � I give and bequeath to my wife one feather Bed &
furniture to her and her heirs.
Itm � I give and bequeath to my Son Sampson Wall what cattle
& hogg there Shall be upon the plantation at my Decease and
what household Goods there Shall be to him and his heirs.
Itm � I give to my Son Richard Wall the Sum of five
Shillings to him & his heirs.
Itm � I give to my Son Arthur Wall the Sum of Five Shillings
to him & his heirs.
Itm � I give to my Son Samuel Wall the Sum of five Shillings
to him & his heirs.
Itm � I give to my Daughter Judith Deloatch the Sum of five
Shillings.
Itm - I give to my Daughter Sarah Boykin five Shillings to
her & her heirs.
Itm � I give to my Daughter Preclia Benson five Shillings to
her & her heirs.
Itm � I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane? Lewis five
Shillings to her & her heirs.
Itm � My will and desire is that my Son Sampson Wall be the
Whole & Sole Executor of this my Last will and Testament
Revoking all former Wills & bequeaths by me made ratifying &
Confirming this only to be my last Will & testament.
Wittness Whereof I have here unto set my hand and fixt my
Seal this 29th day of Febr. 1752.

Northampton County} SS August Court 1755
The within written Will of Richard Wall was exhibited
into Court and proved by the oath of James Lewis one of the
subscribing witnesses thereto; at the same time Sampson Wall
was Qualifyed Executor thereof which on motion was Ordered
to be Certifyed.
