City, is the guest of <strong>Miss Vonnie LEGGETT.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Miss Ruby HASSELL<\/strong>, of Scotland Neck, is visiting <strong>Miss Adelia SKITTLETHARPE<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Miss Gertie WOODARD<\/strong>, of Roper, has been visiting <strong>Miss Callie STUBBS<\/strong> this week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Miss Ella May BRINKLEY<\/strong>, of Winton, is the guest of her cousin, Miss Nona BRINKLEY.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mr. and Mrs. N.O. WARD,<\/strong> of Winton, spent a few days in our town this week visiting their son, <strong>Hon. H.S. WARD.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>His many friends in this section will regret to learn that <strong>Dr. S. HASSELL<\/strong> intends to leave Plymouth on or about September 1st and locate at Belhaven.<\/li>\n<li>A social dance was given in the town hall last evening complimentary to Miss <strong>Mary NEWBOLD<\/strong>, of Creswell, who is the guest of <strong>Mrs. Fletcher AUSBON<\/strong>. \u00a0The managers were <strong>Mess. W.A. BLOUNT Jr., J.M. VAIL<\/strong> and<strong> O.R.
