BASS<\/strong> passed down yesterday enroute to Marietta. <strong>BASS<\/strong> was a brakeman of the Marietta and North Georgia road, and while switching cars at Alleghany was run over and injured to such an extent that he died at 1 o&#8217;clock Friday morning. &#8212; Blue Ridge Record<\/p>\n<p>It will be remembered that <strong>Mr. BASS<\/strong> visited Murphy a short time ago and spent several days as the guest of his friend, <strong>Mr. R.L.
