BAYNOR on Water street is nearing completion.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Miss Alethea NORMAN,\u00a0<\/strong>of Creswell, is in the city, the guest of\u00a0<strong>Mrs. Fannie NORMAN.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mr. Thos. HUSON<\/strong>, formerly business manager of the Beacon, left on Sunday lst for Roanoke, W. Va.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mr. I.F. HARRISON\u00a0<\/strong>having accepted a position with\u00a0<strong>T.W. BLOUNT<\/strong> at Roper, has moved his family to that place.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Miss Maggie COFER,\u00a0<\/strong>who has been adding so much to the social enjoyment of our town by her charming presence for the past several weeks, has returned to her home in Portsmouth, leaving many sad hearts behind.<\/li>\n<li>Last Saturday our job department issued circulars announcing that\u00a0<strong>Capt. W.A.
