MANGUM,<\/strong> and on the 10th <strong>Mrs. Susan Mary MANGUM<\/strong>, the wife of <strong>Henry MANGUM<\/strong>, who died in Halifax county, in 1842, and sister to <strong>Mrs. J. HOOD<\/strong> and <strong>Mrs. H. ALSBROOK<\/strong> of said county and her daughter <strong>Mrs. Mattie D. BROWN<\/strong> all of yellow fever, the last two died within an hour of each other. \u00a0There are 22 cases of fever in the little town and 13 deaths to date.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Source: Roanoke News, 12\u00a0October\u00a01878.
