HASSELL and wife were summoned to Chowan county last Saturday to the bed side of their sister, Mrs. W.E. HASSELL, who is quite ill.<\/li>\n<li>We learn that our popular Sheriff J.B. CHESSON, has appointed, or contemplates appointing, Mr. E.G.
