  • Mr. Louis SUMMERELL, whom we reported as being quite sick last week has entirely recovered from his attack. (pg. 3)

  • On Friday last George RUSSEL, colored, while sawing wood at Maj. RIGBY’s steam mill received a severe injury. A splinter saw off from the wood and struck him in the face cutting him in the bridge of his nose.  The injury is not serious, though he is still confined to his bed.
