The ice cream supper given on Wednesday night at Goelett’s Hall by Mrs. W.H. HAMPTON assisted by other ladies of the church, was in every way a grand success, the attendance was large and the affair was conducted in the most satisfactory manner. The drawing for a quilt was the most exciting feature of the occasion, except the voting for the prettiest lady present, which resulted in the election of Miss Mary HILLIARD. It is hard to decide on such a question where there are so many Plymouth girls present, and no doubt Miss HILLIARD feels highly accomplished.
