Nat MASON, a nephew of Thos. W. MASON, Esq., of Northampton county, died at his residence in that county on Sunday evening the 6th inst. of Roanoke yellow fever after an illness of two days.

J.S. GRANT of Northampton county has removed his residence from below Jackson to Woodland near Garysburg.

Married – in the Episcopal church at Jackson, NC, on Thursday the 28th, by Rector Rev. Mr. HIGGS, Miss Claudia JORDAN of Smithfield, Va., to Mr. Benj. HARDY of Rocky Mount, NC. The happy pair passed through this place on Thursday evening on their way to the bridegroom’s home at Rocky Mount.
